***Tell us what style you work in?

Sometimes I go for bold American traditional for those punchy designs, and other times I love doing more vintage traditional when i want to do it more romantic way 🤣

***How long has the shop been there and how did you become part of it?

I probably hung up the last flashes on the wall when Rose and Dagger first opened, since I’ve been lucky to be part of it from the very beginning! And now I’m already rolling into my 6th year!

***Do you have a vibrant traditional tattoo scene in Bratislava?

Like with a lot of things, unfortunately the traditional scene in Bratislava is quite a bit smaller than in Prague! But I think we’re doing a good job building and growing a community of people who love traditional just like we do, so it definitely makes sense!

***How do you see the importance of traditional tattooing, and what do you think is important  to help push forward to the next generation?

I see traditional tattooing as the root of all modern tattooing, but i really enjoy the human side of it. I always compare trad scene to the hardcore or punk scene. I love the solidarity, the willingness to share knowledge with others, the friendships, and the feeling that you belong to a big family no matter where you travel! So yeah, keep it simple and honest, even though we can’t really avoid evolution of the tattoo industry.
