I grew interested in the world of tattooing as a teen when my older brother started to get tattooed, I went with him to his appointments and was fascinated by all the behind the scenes work. He offered to let me draw his ideas for him, this was incredible to me.  Much to my parents dismay I found someone to tattoo me out of a house at 15 years old (I didn’t want to wait) and was ecstatic that he let me draw the design.

In my youth I really only ever saw male tattooers in every shop I went to and this made tattooing feel unattainable to me. When Jeff and I started dating, I became more familiar with the industry and luckily met a lot of really great and kind tattooers. On a trip to Hawaii I booked an appointment with Kiya Gloriani an incredible tattooer who met my many questions with kindness and guidance. After getting tattooed by her, it sort of unlocked this confidence in me that made tattooing feel more in reach.

When I thought about who I’d want to learn from, (my partner) Jeff Pons felt like the best option because of his level of craft. I had watched his dedication for years and knew that I wouldn’t find anyone better suited.

Besides my partner, I’ve had so much help a long the way from some really great artists. Kiya Gloriani, has been such an encouragement and source of guidance for me, as well as Erik Oseto from Queen Street Tattoo in Hawaii, who is a very dear friend of ours.

I wouldn’t say that I specialize in any style since I am so new to tattooing, but I would say that I really enjoy black and grey tattooing, my interest lean more towards I guess it might be called European traditional, classic imagery with a finer line.
